2022 ACMP Ohio Board Elections




Call for Nominations!

Are you . . . interested in helping to advance the change management profession and discipline? . . . passionate about serving others? . . . willing to help ACMP Ohio deliver against our mission to educate, support and connect organizational change management practitioners and enthusiasts in Ohio – and beyond?


If you answered yes, yes and yes, we encourage you to consider joining our board of directors during the upcoming election process.


Board Positions

We are seeking nominees for five board positions who will collectively represent the diversity of our chapter in our leadership and decision making. These five board positions have two-year terms commencing October 1, 2022, and serving through September 30, 2024, with the exception of the Vice President role which is a one-year term (as our current VP vacates his role to run for president).

  • President: An officer of the Board of Directors, serving as the chief executive officer of the organization and is responsible for implementing the strategic plans and policies of the organization

  • Vice President: An officer of the Board of Directors, serving as backup to the chapter president, supporting the president in implementing strategic plans and policies, and presiding over membership meetings

  • Secretary: An officer of the Board of Directors, ensuring accurate and sufficient documentation exists to meet legal requirements and to enable authorized persons to determine when, how, and by whom the chapter business was conducted

  • Membership Director: A member of the Board of Directors, responsible for membership growth, retention, and member information tracking

  • Sponsorship Director: A member of the Board of Directors, responsible for attracting and retaining sponsor/partners and managing their benefits and engagement with the chapter


Nomination Process

To enter your name as a candidate, simply complete the nomination form by Thursday, August 25 to express your interest.


You must be an active Ohio Chapter ACMP member at the time of your election and throughout your term on the board. If you’re not currently an ACMP Ohio member, visit acmpglobal.org to learn more and secure your membership before the August 25 nomination deadline.

Two information sessions are scheduled to help you understand what to expect as a member of the ACMP board and make an informed decision about running for any of these positions. Simply click on one of the sessions below to RSVP. If you are unable to make either of these sessions, a replay will be made available.

Election Timeline

  • By Thursday, August 25 | Interested members complete the candidate nomination form

  • Friday, August 26 | Candidate bios will be shared with all members

  • August 30-September 2 | The election is open

  • September 3-6 | Election results will be announced to nominees

  • Wednesday, September 7 | Election results will be announced to chapter members


Additional Considerations

Commitments for all new board members begin in the month of September with orientation, followed by an annual planning session scheduled for Saturday, October 1.


Other commitments include aligning with and advancing the board’s ways of working together, active participation at monthly board meetings and as many programming/other events as possible, as well as overseeing volunteers and/or a committee.

In 2023, we will continue to work with you to Educate , Support and Connect members in Ohio and adjacent states, reinforcing ACMP Global events and resources and bringing our chapter together locally.
